The new 25 ton Kalmar forklift arrives at our Terminal area in
Charleston
Liberty Terminals Charleston has received a new Kalmar heavy duty forklift
with a capacity of 25 tons. This brings the total fleet of heavy Kalmar
forklifts to 3 units in Charleston.
The acquisition is made to meet the increasing future demands for handling
of heavy cargo in Charleston.
The 3 heavy duty Kalmar forklifts have various mast heights, fork lengths,
inverted forks, and various spreader accessories. This together with our
fleet of heavy-lift mafis/trailers with capacities up to 100 tons enable us
to handle the majority of the special cargo which we expect to see in
Charleston in the near future.
